The writer Giuseppe Berto was so enchanted by the beauty of Capo Vaticano, that once he'd discovered 'his' paradise he was never to leave it. Over the years he built six houses on his 'estate' that covers twenty thousand square meters. All the houses have the magical touch and spirit of the writer himself. Each one is unique and they all have numerous delightful features. The interiors are simple but warm in style. What makes these 'Case' so special is the huge and well kept garden (read 'small park'!). Some of the houses are 'hidden' in the grounds and others have a view over the coastline. Peace and quiet; endless possibilities of special places to install yourself with a good book; abundant inspiration if you like to paint – would one expect less if a writer calls it his 'paradise'
A single path leads you down to the bay where you'll find a perfect and secluded beach, one of the prettiest beaches of southern Italy. It is absolutely worthwhile to take the four hundred steps up and down the stairs. The house is –like the other houses of Berto- perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet and yet want to be close to the beach and town.

Il Night di Berto is a simple house on a unique location. The entrance to the house is via the living room where you will also find the double bed. There is a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet in the house. The cosy simple house is set on the rocks high above the sea.
The romantic accommodation is surrounded by several terraces and a beautiful Mediterranean garden with prickly pears and other vegetation typical for the region. The accommodation is far from luxurious, but offers an priceless and idyllic setting with a view over Stromboli.

Casa Bocce is named after the old bowling lane that is close to the house. The house was recently renovated and has a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and an open kitchen.
The great thing about this particular cottage is the terrace next to it. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the fabulous view over Stromboli. The park that surrounds the house ensures a large amount of privacy during your stay.

When you enter the house you will immediately notice the two guardian angels on the wall after which the house is named. The angels and the tasteful decoration give the house a warm and cosy atmosphere. The location at the estate of Berto together with the warm atmosphere make this house an accommodation we can really recommend. The picturesque cottage is perfect for two persons and offers marvelous views over the sea and Stromboli.
Angiolone has a large private terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The large garden around the house guarantees a large amount of privacy.
